You know, I don’t think I’ve ever missed commenting on a Flash Gordon strip on time since I started commenting on it. Which is sort of odd, since it’s also the only strip which has only re-done content. Speaking of, the new adventure they’re promoting? Apparently, this “New Adventure!” is a reprint of a reprint of a reprint of a re-edit of a retelling of Flash Gordon’s origin story. We’re about as many degrees as we can get from original content. Amazingly, it’ll only last about a month, and then who knows what will happen?
Meanwhile, in the Phantom, the Phantom’s daughter takes down some punk kid while Guran looks on, smiling, and the Phantom’s son wears that diaper-looking loincloth. I really wish that kid would either put on a pair of pants or a different color loincloth. Oh, and as if taking down the kid physically wasn’t enough, the Phantom’s kid mock his beliefs. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: The Phantom is sort of a jerk.
