If Spider-Man is in the truck, as the Sunday “NEXT” box claimed, then how is he breathing in an airtight space? Is Sandman going to open the truck only to find an asphyxiated Spider-Man? That would be a twisted way to end the strip.
I hate the song “Lean on Me”. It was my eighth grade class song, and I really didn’t like a lot about that school. This has no real bearing on the strip, other than Nick’s dialog in panel two, but I can’t think of anything more interesting to say.
It’s good to know that Chatu’s reach doesn’t extend to the Rhodian authority figures. Of course, it might, but the Warden is doing a good job of pretending that’s not the case.
