Think up your own post title.

Well, here’s your commentary.
Bigshot’s going to try and do something to hurt Sandra (the Sandman’s daughter) and Foghorn is going to stop him, perhaps fatally. This is most likely what’s going to happen. I am glad that Spider-Man and Sandman finally teamed up, though. That’s pretty good.
Derek is awfully trusting, not even checking to see if Mandrake really did take out the bullets. He’s also very naive if he thinks that his companions will put up with him taking the keys and trying to gain the upper-hand. If I was any of them, I’d start beating the living daylights out of Derek right now.
When I saw the first comic, I was hoping that the Phantom would be off to enlist his services to that one woman captain from the Croccos storyline. Instead, it’s just some generic sea captain. Oh well. The second panel in today’s strip is pretty neat, though, what with the nod to the Phantom’s origin and whatnot.

After reading the first Phantom, I kinda feel bad for the Warden and all the other people who refer to Python as a “great man” who is bringing great change to the world or whatever, since he seems satisfied to simply know that the Phantom’s wife is in jail while he thinks she’s dead. With the way he’s handling things, Python’s like a more serious version of Dr. Evil from Austin Powers.
