I really just want to comment on Mandrake today. So enjoy token commentary on the other two strips.
Oh man, Sandman is all punching Spider-Man and stuff. Was this the plan or is he just beating on him? Oh man. Stuff.
Mandrake’s father was a terrible parent if he thought shaking children was a good way of getting things done. Also, are they going to be all like, “Oh, Mandrake levitating Derek and shaking him violently was just an illusion!” like that playing card thing in the last storyline? That would be lame. Cartoon Mandrake could levitate people, when he wanted to. He was also about a hundred times better than comic strip Mandrake in every way. I might just start putting up commentary on the “Defenders of the Earth” cartoon, in lieu of the comic strips. That would take more work, but you know what? Maybe I will. MAYBE I WILL.
Oh man, the Phantom is all angsty. On a boat. But he doesn’t have to be either of those things, because his wife is still alive. Oh man. Stuff.
